EVENT RESCHEDULED

Peg and Cliff Small are a suburban middle-aged couple who once happened to be prize-winning ballroom dancers.

It's been a lifetime since they tripped the light fantastic but they both vividly remember their glory days – young and in love – and the swish of a taffeta skirt or slide of patent shoes across the floor. Now, Cliff is quietly content and dreams of becoming a writer while Peg is anxious to take the lead and steer them towards their next great adventure. Once perfectly in sync, Cliff and Peg's marriage begins to falter as they fall out of step with each other.

From award-winning Australian playwright Peta Murray, Wallflowering features world-class ballroom dancers performing on stage alongside actors in a delightfully amusing and poignant play about the nature of marriage, the pursuit of happiness, and the perfect foxtrot.

Wallflowering leaves us with the feeling that loving in an ordinary way may be quite an extraordinary gift after all.
