Gardens Theatre is located at QUT's Gardens Point (city) campus at 2 George Street, Brisbane. The campus is an easy 15-minute walk from the centre of Brisbane (via George Street) and South Bank (via the Goodwill Bridge).

QUT's Gardens Point campus is easily accessible by foot, public transport, private coach, taxi or ride-share, and car. See how to get here.

There are several public car parks at QUT's Gardens Point campus, managed by the university's Facilities Management department. Demand on public car parks in the CBD is extremely high, and on-campus parking on weekdays during university semesters is very limited. We recommend using public transport where possible. See parking info.

There are reduced tariffs for weekday evenings (after 6pm) and weekend parking at nearby QUT carparks. Theatre patrons may be eligible to receive a discounted hourly rate for parking at all other times, however discounts will only apply to parking tickets validated by staff prior to leaving the theatre.

Due to copyright restrictions, photography and video recording are not permitted. All devices should be switched to silent or off prior to entering the theatre. You may be asked to leave if instructions from theatre staff are ignored.

Doors usually open 15 minutes prior to the performance start time, however this may vary. Please arrive early to ensure you are ready to be seated when the doors are open as late arrivals may be instructed to wait until an appropriate break in the performance to be seated.
