By foot

Gardens Theatre is a 15-minute walk from the city centre via George Street, or a 20-minute walk from Southbank Parklands via the Goodwill Bridge.

Public transport

QUT Gardens Point is very well serviced by public transport, including CityCat, buses and trains. Visit and plan your trip using the Journey Planner, or call TransInfo on 13 12 30.

Private coach

Coaches may use dedicated Brisbane City Council bus zones near Alice Street, which is a 10-minute walk to Gardens Theatre. Visit for up-to-date information on coach parking in the CBD.

Taxi or ride-share

A drop-off zone outside Parliament House is located about 300m (5-minute) walk from Gardens Theatre.

Demand on public car parks in the CBD is extremely high. On-campus parking during university semester and weekdays is very limited. We recommend using public transport or alternative arrangements where possible.
