Smart Integration: Working together to maximise box office performance, stakeholder and customer relationships Wednesday 7 to Friday 9 February 2007 The third annual Ticketing Professionals Conference will be held 7 to 9 February 2007 at the QUT Gardens Theatre, Brisbane under the auspices of the Northern Australian Regional Performing Arts Centre Association (NARPACA). In keeping with the increasing importance being placed on Customer Relationship Management, this year's theme, 'Smart Integration: Working together to maximise box office performance, stakeholder and customer relationships' offers both a strategic challenge and the elements to drive organisational change. Alan Youngson, Chair of the national Conference Committee commented: "Competition is ever increasing for both the current and potential audiences, time and attention. Performing Arts organisations, venues and show producers need to get cleverer and fight harder, together for our share of the leisure dollar. The marketplace is not the same and consumer behaviour is ever evolving. To keep up, we need to work in an even more co-ordinated and integrated manner to meet and exceed the expectations of increasingly sophisticated audiences and consumers in the 21st century." This conference addresses many of these challenges with industry experts and case studies that develop the potential of ticketing and its evolving role in Customer Relationship Management. Program features include a lively Forum, "Who really owns the customer database?" with Simon Bryce (Executive Producer, Ross Mollison Productions), Craig McMaster (Chief Executive, The Showbiz Group), David Whitney (Director, Canberra Theatre Centre) and Ian English (Managing Director Asia Pacific, tickets.com) - as well as Ticketing Supplier Workshops, Keynote Sessions, Panel Discussions, Australian Case Studies and Trade Displays. The theme and diverse program have attracted experienced industry practitioners as speakers including Vicki Allpress (Marketing Manager, The NBR New Zealand Opera), Anne-Maree Moon (Director of Marketing & Ticketing, Queensland Performing Arts Centre), Karen Mosley (Ticketing & Tourism Manager, The Australian Open Tennis, Melbourne), and Tim Roberts (Principal Consultant ARTS Australia, Sydney) co-author with UK's Roger Tomlinson of FULL HOUSE: Turning Data into Audiences.
