Three Sisters

by Dan Evans after Anton Chekhov

Three sisters wait in the middle-of-nowhere for someone or something to take them all back to Moscow.

The middle of Russia.
The middle of the 19th Century.

Moscow ... glittering with impossible promise like a distant dream ...

But into their precarious existence arrives Change: a Wife, an Army on the move, a Wildfire, and the persistent march of Time. Western Literature's most famous siblings are about to be changed by The Future which looks eerily like The Past in a re-imagining of Chekhov's Three Sisters that is equal parts traditional, contemporary and downright terrifying.

This is a heartbreaking and caustic drama that dares to ask: in a world that never stops changing, how do we create the life we want, the future we need, the reality we can live with?
