Mandi Lodge in 'My Brilliant Divorce'

My Brilliant Divorce

by Geraldine Aron

A radiantly witty one-woman comic drama that explores how to cope when the world you've built, spectacularly comes crashing down.

Divorced and abandoned by her irritatingly round-headed husband of many years after he dumped her for a younger woman, Angela (Mandi Lodge) is left to deal with an empty nest, a disapproving mother, a misogynist lawyer, some dubious counsellors, a bad case of hypochondria and the spectre of poverty. But, if you don't laugh you'll cry, and so with only the family dog Axal for company, Angela mourns her marriage, picks up the pieces, and learns to live whole again.

Starring Mandi Lodge
Directed by Denny Lawrence

"The exceptionally talented and versatile Mandi is lauded for her body of work, including Menopause The Musical, Busting Out, Just The Ticket and Always…Patsy Cline. Mandi Lodge has charisma to burn."
