Frequently Asked Questions
What is a subscription package?
A subscription package bundles tickets to 3, 4 or 5 shows in our 2018 season, saving you up to 20% on regular ticket prices and giving you access to exclusive subscriber benefits.
What type of subscriptions are available?
In 2018 we've introduced Gold, Silver and Bronze subscription packages – we promise it has nothing to do with the Commonwealth Games! Our subscription season is one of the most flexible and affordable ticket packages in Brisbane.
How do I purchase a subscription package?
Can I swap my tickets to another performance?
Yes. Subscribers can exchange tickets between performances, depending on availability. Tickets cannot be exchanged between shows.
What are some of the subscriber bonuses?
Gold and Silver subscribers receive complimentary tickets to QUT Showcase productions featuring QUT's acting and dance students, discounted flat-rate inner city parking adjacent the theatre, and a 15-20% discount on regular ticket prices. Full details on our subscription packages can be found here.
I'm unable to attend / Arrived late / Didn't like the show. Can I get a refund for my tickets?
Nope, sorry. Refunds are not permitted if you arrive late, are unable to attend, or were dissatisfied with the show. Gardens Theatre adheres to the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice, which outlines ticket refund entitlements under Australian Consumer Law. This applies to all tickets booked outside of a subscription.
Can I exchange my tickets?
Sure. You can exchange tickets to another performance of the same show, depending on availability. Call the Box Office to arrange new tickets before the date of your booked performance.
Help! I've lost my tickets
Hey, we've all been there. Just call the Box Office to arrange replacement tickets to be collected from Box Office on the day of the performance. If you selected 'Print-at-Home' tickets, you can reprint your tickets by logging into your QTIX.
Can I choose my own seats?
Sure can! For shows with allocated seating, we offer the option to select your seats based on availability. Some shows, such as QUT Showcase productions, are general admission and seating is first in, best dressed.
